Midnight settler tour

On August 4th, we went on another fun-filled event: following settlers and soldiers around through Hebron's Old City, as they walk around with a guide. I have been witness to two of these wonderful events already this year, but this is the first time they did this at night. In some ways, it was better than during the daytime- at least most people were asleep. Still, we decided to go and follow it to make sure there would be no problems.

Some of the settler "tourists"- they were all female- began to tell us to "go home", and called us "nazis". Then they began asking our Italian members if they are Jewish.

Some of the soldiers looked bored out of their minds. Some ISMers asked them if they wouldn't rather be at home sleeping than taking these fanatics around on another romp through the city. They didn't answer, but a few looked as if they probably wouldn't have disagreed.
