Church of the Nativity

In Bethlehem, a Palestinian city in the West Bank, you will find a few churches. One of them is the Church of the Nativity, built at the place where it is believed Jesus was born.

Jesus chose to incarnate Himself in this land during a time when there was another occupation- this time the victims were Jewish, and the occupiers Romans. He chose to be born not in a castle, but a stable, His family fleeing from a tyrant who wanted Him killed.

Jesus will one day come again. The injustice and war that is plaguing this part of the world- and all parts of the world- will one day come to an end, God willing.
