Mahane Yehuda Market

A place in Israel that I would definitely and highly recommend checking out, is the Mahane Ben Yehuda Market. It is located on Jaffa Street, and is one of the biggest Jewish markets in Western Jerusalem. You can buy delicious, fresh fruit there, and fantastic food. After the Arab Quarter in the Old City, it is my favourite place. It is great to see people laughing, enjoying each others' company, supporting themselves. The market is always loud, as you can hear people yelling out prices for their wares, and others haggling. I love the noise and excitement.
