I think it is a positive thing how people set time aside away from work, to spend it relaxing with loved ones, and worshiping God.
The streets below are normally crowded with people shopping and hanging out. They are completely empty on Saturdays.

Shabbat
On Saturday, everything in the Jewish areas of Israel shuts down. My wife and I had to go to the Arab Quarter to buy food. Others in our hostel bought food on Friday, and ate it during Shabbat.
I think it is a positive thing how people set time aside away from work, to spend it relaxing with loved ones, and worshiping God.
